My name is Sue LaBatte and I am an employee of the Oglala Lakota HeadStart Program. I have Worked for the HeadStart Program for 13 years. I am also a student at Oglala Lakota College working towards my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am the mother of eight children and the grandmother of numerous grandchildren. I really love my job and enjoy working with young children. With all the experience I have had raising my own children and working with pre-school children I am still learning how children grow, develop, and learn. For me this will probably be a life long learning process because children are always teaching me something new.
